Fun Friends attended the World Music awards at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. . The ceremony recognized the best selling recording artists worldwide. All of the proceeds from the show benefit the Monaco Aide and Presence Foundation, which assists underdeveloped areas mainly in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Brazil.
Many celebrities from all genres of music attended the event.
Among the stars that preformed their multi-million dollar hits were Mariah Carey, Kid Rock, Carlos Santana, Rihanna and more. Fun Friends caught up with the celebrities after the show, to snap some pictures with their favorite characters. Fun Friends attended the Radio Music Awards, held at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas this past week. The awards celebrate the popularity of musicians on radio stations nationwide. The show featured performances from some of the biggest names in rock, country, and alternative music such as Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Jewel, Tim McGraw and others.
Fun Friends had the opportunity to promote its cuddly new line of furry phone companions. Once again, the plush cell phone covers created a buzz among artists and celebrities who received the product in a variety of styles from dogs, pigs, frogs, bears and even lobsters to name just a few. “The RMA’s was a great event for Fun Friends. As a guest of “Desperate Housewives” cast member, Eva Longoria, Fun Friends participated in Eva Longoria’s first annual “2006 El Sueno de Esperana’ Gala, which gave hope to Latino children diagnosed with cancer.
Within a tent setup between Blank and Blank’s houses on the “Desperate Housewives” Wisteria Lane set on the Universal Studio Backlot in Universal City, California, Fun Friends was one of the exclusive companies invited to take part in one of the Latino community’s most anticipated black-tie events of the year. Eva Longoria hosted the fabulous event that played host to elected officials, such as California’s Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger, and celebrities like George Lopez and Mario Lopez of “Saved by the Bell” and a current competitor of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Sarasota, FL — Fun Friends donated its cute and cuddly plush cell phone covers and keychain accessories for the love of children … and, boy, did the children love Fun Friends. (The adults, athletes, entertainers and stars did too!)
On Saturday, Sept. 11, Fun Friends participated in “For the Love of Children 3: A Tribute to Heroes,” which took place at The Queen Mary and the Aquadome in Long Beach, CA. The event was an international concert honoring remarkable heroes from the Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy and the 2004 911 national youth heroes. “For the Love of Children 3: A Tribute to Heroes” was hosted by Athletes and Entertainers for Kids and benefited the Dorough Lupus Foundation and 911 for Kids.
Fun Friends were given away to the delight of children and stars alike. Teenage stars like Jonathan Lipinski of “Jerry McGuire” fame, Scarlett Pomers of “Reba,” Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat of “Arrested Development,” Jake McDorman and Ryan Pinkston of “Quintuplets” slipped their new Fun Friends on their cell phones just in time for their red, white and blue carpet arrivals.
Then guests enjoyed the international concert that featured a special performance by Honorary Chairs The Backstreet Boys. Fun Friends attended the NAACP Image Awards in California. The star-studded event took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The ceremony is the nation's premier event to honor outstanding black actors, actresses, writers, producers and directors.
Raven Symone, India Arie, The Roots, LL Cool J, Vanessa Williams, S.Epatha Merkerson and Forest Whitaker were among the all-star lineup of performers and presenters.
Fun Friends got up-close and personal with many big celebrities.
Tyler James Williams from Everybody Hates Chris won the award for best lead actor. He was excited to get his hands on a furry Fun Friend. Williams remarked, “These really go on cell phones and Ipods? I have to have one!”
Imani Hakin, a co-star of Tyler’s, said, “These are awesome, can I have one? I love Fun Friends… my purple hippo is so hip!” Kimberly Elise quoted, “I love my monkey. I can’t believe this fits on my phone, this is so cool!”

Radio Music Awards - Celebrities enjoy their new Fun Friends.
The Radio Music Awards honored the year's most successful songs on mainstream radio. The show has included many of the top names in music including Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Elton John, Nelly, Gavin DeGraw, Avril Lavigne, and Lifehouse among others.
Fun Friends caught up with some of the star performers of the night; Snoop Dog and the members of the Pussy Cat Dolls.
